Spring Fest in the Grove

Fiddlers Grove will sponsor “Spring Fest in the Grove” April 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   The event is FREE! There will be numerous vendors with items for sale to help you with Spring ideas and get you started with your gardening for the year. Different garden groups will also be here with their plants for sale. Several notable authorities will be available for you to ask questions.

Tanner Romsdal with Tennessee Wildlife Resource Authority will be here discussing small mammals of Tennessee.

Dr. Alan Windham, University of Tennessee’s plant pathologist will be here to diagnose fungi and bacteria on your plants. (Please bring plant parts in zipped clear bags.)

Linda Robertson, Naturalist with Cedars of Lebanon State Park will be here to share information about butterflies and the gardens they need.

Cynthia Winfield, Certified Master Gardener, will discuss composting and its benefits to your garden.

Marianne Pelletier will introduce our newest addition to Fiddlers Grove, The History Garden.

We will also have an area set aside just for kids. Plan to put this on your calendar and come out for a very informative and fun day at Fiddlers Grove.
